Lessons available:
"Regular" Riding lessons.

Specializing in beginners to novice. Adults/Children. Disabilities that do not require a ramp mount acceptable. Your horse or a schooling horse (I use either one of my own, or a FRER schooling horse located at LPTC). Your location or mine (LPTC). Fees depends on the variables. Driving Lessons.
At my location a miniature horse named Jack is used. If you prefer "full sized rig" lessons or have a horse you’d like to put in training to become a driving horse- contact Michelle Conner at LPTC. Fee depends upon the variables. "Reserve Cori" now to receive a quote.

"Under-Saddle" VHT™/ET™ combo lessons.
These lessons help riders at ANY LEVEL in any discipline. Your horse receives bodywork under-saddle (he will need to have received an initial 3 sessions to qualify). And you have the option of receiving bodywork first on the table, then while you are on your horse if necessary. Issues of rider position, tension, balance, relaxation, cooperation, etc. are addressed in these lessons. I can conduct both the bodywork and the lesson, OR you can use the expertise of both myself and Frances Carbonnel of Classical Legacy. These can be conducted at your location, my location (LPTC), or Mariah Farms (Frances’ home base- this will require 3-way scheduling and a trailer in fee).

Fees depend upon variables. "Reserve Cori" now to receive a quote.

For those of us who have become Practitioners, Jock and Ivana wanted us to learn the basics of VHT™ and practice on humans, soas to further perfect our technique. (VHT™, Canine Touch™, and Equine Touch™ are the same technique, modified to the anatomy and special needs of the recipient.)

I discovered that helping the RIDER with VHT™ greatly benefits the HORSE, and so began bringing a massage table with me to the stables. Also, many humans were curious about what their horses might be feeling during a session.

NOTE: I am NOT a certified human massage therapist. I have considered going to school, but the commitment of time and money is high to learn techniques I will never use, as they are tremendously taxing on my body. Therefore, I accept, but do not require donations toward the maintenance of my table, and do not charge a fee for VHT™. While my understanding of this state’s law is that I am within my rights to charge for VHT™ since I have completed a course in it, I would rather not test the law. Those humans who request VHT™ do so voluntarily, and accept my VHT™ sessions as a gift. Receiving VHT™ is not a requirement of an under-saddle session, and the cost of the session doesn’t change with or without VHT™. Your horse will still benefit tremendously from receiving the work while you ride him.

A word about VHT™:

Vibromuscular Harmonization Technique™ was created by a brilliant bodyworker, Jock Ruddock (a Scottsman), who was a Bowen Instructor and Practitioner in the UK. He developed a way for the Bowen practitioner to be effective while suffering less wear and tear on his or her own body. When he presented his ideas to Bowen, he was told that what he was doing was no longer Bowen Method. He branched off and created his own technique, & VHT™ was born. After helping countless humans, he was asked to work on a horse that was a "lost case". Not a horseman at the time, he did his best to translate his human technique to the equine body. The story goes that when he returned to the stable to work on the horse a second time, "owners had their horses lined up and waiting". Soon, he was asked to give a presentation at the Czechoslovakian School of Veterinary Science, where Ivana was a lecturer on Equine Anatomy. This is how the dynamic couple met. Ivana partnered with Jock to help him use VHT™ to create a truly unique form of equi-bodywork, and they simply dubbed it "Equine Touch". Today they tour the globe teaching their technique to horse lovers everywhere.
