The Equine Touch™ is my main system of bodywork, although I was a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist before I became an Equine Touch™ Practitioner. My many years of watching and riding horses and my understanding of equine anatomy lends an eye and a feel for horses that not all equi-bodyworkers have advantage of. I also soak up every little piece of information and technique I can, wherever I can; incorporating the effective stuff into my toolbox. My use of basic stretching and "energy" techniques add to the effectiveness of my unique approach. My ability to think outside the box, using my skills in inventive and intuitive ways sets my work apart.
A word about "Team": The greatest gift you can give your horse is to create a team of professionals who are for the most part, on the same page. I enjoy working TOGETHER with vets, dentists, trainers, farriers, chiropractors, acupuncturists, saddle fitters, and YOU to successfully manage your horse’s issues from every angle. Sometimes a root cause of recurring issues needs to be examined, and that is where the other professionals come into play.
Finally, I prefer to work with your horse in a rope halter for my safety and his "room to yawn". If you do not already have one, I will provide a sterile one for a small fee.
